New York based singer-songwriter Amy Jay releases the official lyric video for “Only One” – the debut single from her Supposed To Be EP – on Friday, January 20th. Amy Jay released her debut EP Supposed To Be last year via AWAL and has since amassed close to 200,000 streams on Spotify with a peak of 30,000 Monthly Listeners. The video was produced by Andy DeLuca (Wolf Alice, The Struts, Gallant, Lauv, Bayside) and features scenes inspired by the song as well as handwritten phrases drawn by Amy Jay.
Amy Jay creates lush acoustic folk with moments of dynamics, ambience, and longing. Her genuine lyrics are open and reflective and often explore the things of life that should have gone differently: family, friends, relationships and the loss of things we hold dear in our life.
