She has an old school country appeal and her voice takes you back in time when country music was ruled by the voices of Barbara Mandrell, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn.

Donovan has a delicate powerhouse voice that executes this song with conviction. It is clear and concise and articulates each word revealing a pretty romance. She sings it like she means it and the emotion hits you right in the heart. Concise lyrics that paint a sweet picture of two lovers there for each other when one is weak the other is strong.
The production takes us back to the good old days when country music actually sounded country. The slide guitar gives it that touch that accentuates the passion portrayed in the angelic tones between the vocals and the music. She nails this sentiment with flawless conviction.
Lynne Taylor Donovan has a well deserved respect with a gentle strength. She is letting the world know, there is more to country music than, rednecks, pick up trucks and coolers on a tailgate. It is understandable why the song is doing so well in the charts and showing no sign of slowing down; proving to the world there is substance and beauty in simplicity.
I rate this 5 out of 5
