BEAT COPS NEW SINGLE
A Montreal all-star group; Mikey Heppner (Priestess), Tim Fletcher (The Stills), Pat Bennett (Trigger Effect) and Max Hébert (Breastfeeders, Final Flash) created Beat Cops. This project is a long time coming with Mikey Heppner and Tim Fletcher forming the punk rock outfit, ‘The Dropouts’, back in 2001. ‘Priestess’ and ‘The Stills’ (Heppner and Fletcher’s respective side-projects, go ahead and Google them) put the project on hold, eating up most their time. It was only last July (2014) when the two began taking their collaboration seriously once again and so came Beat Cops.

Atlantic recording group In This Moment has revealed tour plans through the fall. Following a newly announced leg of their “Black Widow” tour, the hard rock band will serve as special guests to co-headliners Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach. That tour gets underway September 4th at Lexington, KY’s Rupp Arena and then continue through mid-Octobe.

MUTUAL BENEFIT “SLOW MARCH”
“Slow March” is the first new material from Jordan Lee’s Mutual Benefit since the stellar Love’s Crushing Diamond, released last year on Other Music Recording Co.
The song is part of the Keep In Touch subscription series, a yearlong project launched by one of Lee’s former labels, Father/Daughter Records. Every month this year, 500 subscribers around the world receive a 7″ x 7″ paper postcard with an unreleased song that can be played on a turntable. ELEKTRA RECORDS SIGNS ROYAL TEETH
Elektra Records has announced the addition of New Orleans-based, indie pop band Royal Teeth to its celebrated roster. Their label debut – expected in 2016 – will be the band’s first new music since releasing 2013’s Glow, which featured the hit single “Wild.”

MAX GRAHAM SAYS GOODBYE TO REBRAND RECORDS AND LAUNCHES NEW LABEL
It is after much thought that I’ve decided to say goodbye to my record label, Rebrand Records, and Armada as its distributor.
Conceived in 2004 with the idea of creating a family of like-minded artists, I can look back and say it was an amazing experience and we achieved exactly that. Huge thanks to the entire team at Armada for backing the label and helping it grow and the talented artists we featured, specifically my great friends Protoculture and Solid Stone who helped create the sound that Rebrand was so known for.
With that, I introduce the next step: my new imprint, Cycles.
THEORY OF A DEADMAN RELEASE ACOUSTIC COVER OF TOVE LO’S “HABITS (STAY HIGH)”
Roadrunner/604 recording group Theory Of A Deadman have released an acoustic cover of Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)” which is featured on their Angel Acoustic EP. The EP, which is available for pre-order via iTunes today, is a collection of acoustic performances of fan favorite Theory Of A Deadman songs and “Habits (Stay High).” The Angel Acoustic EP officially arrives at all DSPs on April 28th.

Brooklyn experimental art-pop upstarts Voice Coils are extremely pleased to unveil their first new music since last fall’s debut “In Sixths/Field And Border” 7″ released on Shatter Your Leaves. This new offering comes in the form of “You In A Place For A While By Yourself”, an alternate version of a song slated to appear on the band’s first EP due out later this summer. “You In A Place…” pairs back the electric guitars of their debut in favor of an acoustic, beautifully dynamic approach, revealing the “gnostic hymns” that rest in the peaks and valleys of Voice Coils’ transcendental music.
JACQUIE LEE RELEASES OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR “TEARS FALL”
MTV premiered their “Hit Of The Week,” the official video for Jacquie Lee’s single “Tears Fall.” The video was filmed at the famous home of Zsa Zsa Gábor and features Jacquie floating in a pool of “man tears.” MTV said of the girl power inspired video, “Jacquie Lee isn’t going to be some boy-crazy girl. That’s why in her latest video, for ’Tears Fall,’ she goes from miserable to triumphant within seconds. (The giant swan, heart-shaped cake and cup of man tears probably helped.)”
