Fresh off a bid in the Feds, aspiring street preacher Neighborhood Kandyman offers up the first visual off his upcoming January 2015 release, “The Hustle Religion” for your enjoyment. “So Fly” is exactly how Kandyman is feeling out of those prison stripes and he don’t care who knows it. Neighborhood Kandyman has launched a fearless and sometimes controversial Hustle Religion movement whose ethos is putting your faith in your own grind, hustle, and work ethics; those things that you can control. His music has been described as powerful, hypnotic and motivational; pimp scriptures.
While “The Hustle Religion” may be what landed Kandyman on vacation courtesy of Uncle Sam in the first place, this time around he’s pushing a whole new product. The 22-track project features cameos from Killa Kyleon, Propain and Houston’s newest favorite son, Beatking and is hosted by DJ Michael ‘5000’ Watts, DJ Mr Rogers. “So Fly” was shot in and around Kandyman’s old stomping grounds and was directed by DJ Young Samm.
