Breakout EDM trio Krewella have garnered their first gold certified single with over 500,000 copies sold of their crossover hit “Alive.” The single, off of the group’s critically acclaimed debut EP Play Hard, spent an impressive 32 weeks on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay charts before hitting #1 earlier this month. As “Alive” simultaneously broke into the top 10 on the Pop Airplay charts, Billboard declared, “It’s official: Krewella are dubstep-rock-pop-radio stars.” The group’s official video for “Alive” was released last December and to date has over 10 million views.
