Bluntface Records are proud to announce that Krebs, an Electronic/EBM group from Philadelphia, PA has signed to the label. Krebs debut EP Cellophane will be released June 29th.
A throwback to the EBM synth sounds of the 80’s and 90’s, Krebs is an electronic music project that fuses danceable beats with apocalyptic synths and the crunch of guitars. In 2012, Krebs was created by Mike Haggerty with combination of influences from both electronic and metal artists. Work on demo songs slowly built up to the songs Krebs now has. In 2013 Chris Mattioni joined for live support by adding backing vocals and much needed high energy at shows. Krebs songs have an atmosphere and style akin to Front Line Assembly, and heavy beats influenced by KMFDM. Krebs aims to blend different electronic sounds and keep experimenting with the industrial genre.
