On October 23, Epitonic.com will release it’s first album as a record label, Between Buildings, Toward The Sea by Dublin indie rockers Autumn Owls. The band’s debut full-length, recorded in Chicago with Brian Deck (Califone, Modest Mouse) showcases elements of The National, Unforgettable Fire-era U2, and the best of Chicago post-rock. FILTER Magazine is premiering the first single today, “Great Atlantic Drift” which they call “a song that explores a sonic atmosphere so filled with pathos you can’t help but to close your eyes and travel along with each note and melody.”
