Louisville singer/songwriter JOEL HENDERSON will release Locked Doors & Pretty Fences on April 10, 2012, on TroubleCure Records. This is his first full-length, full-band CD and the follow up to the intimate “Always Willing to Take Me In” released in 2011 and “The High Risk EP” that was released a few years earlier.
With the release of the EP, music critics praised the artist saying “his thoughtful lyrics and evocative voice are so strong that they easily carry each song into the listener’s mind, stirring up familiar images and memories as if Henderson was standing right beside you.”
On the new CD, Henderson surrounded himself with a group of stellar musicians. Guest players include Ric Hordinski (Over The Rhine) on guitar; Byron House (Band of Joy) on bass guitar; Jason Wilber (John Prine) on guitars; Devon Ashley (Lemonheads, Over The Rhine) on drums; Heidi Gluck (Juliana Hatfield, Some Girls) on vocals, bass, piano; and more.
