BLACK EYED PEAS DEDICATE NEW VID TO THE JAPANESE
Just about a week before the earthquake and tsunami struck Japan, the Black Eyed Peas were in Tokyo to shoot the video for their new single, “Just Can’t Get Enough.” The group has now dedicated the clip to the people of the country. According to CNN, the Black Eyed Peas included a special message at the beginning of the video to show their support for those afflicted by the natural disaster. The video is set to debut this week. Rap-Up.com is reporting that the Peas will perform “Just Can’t Get Enough” this Thursday on American Idol.
MESSAGE: The text that appears on the video for “Just Can’t Get Enough” reads: “This video was filmed in Japan one week before the earthquake. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Japan. We love you,” while providing viewers with a link to donate to the Red Cross.
GOOD CHARLOTTE DO DOUBLE DARE FOR “LAST NIGHT” VIDEO
Good Charlotte are bringing back the ‘90s in their new video for “Last Night.” The guys have resurrected Nickelodeon’s Family Double Dare for the video, which premiered on FunnyOrDie.com on Monday. The clip features the band members participating in a number of the game’s challenges and includes a cameo from former Family Double Dare host Marc Summers, who oversees the proceedings and even lip-synchs some of the song. Good Charlotte are currently on tour in support of their fifth album, Cardiology. They’ll wrap up their road trip on March 27th in Anaheim, California.

WIZ KHALIFA GETS DEEP ON ROLLING PAPAERS
There are only a few weeks until Wiz Khalifa drops his debut album, Rolling Papers. The “Black And Yellow” rapper told AllHipHop.com that the disc is “all about growth and development.” He said that as long as fans recognize that and hear it in the music, he doesn’t care how much the project sells. RIHANNA UPSET BY HER FATHER
Did you know Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, recently sold private childhood photos to the tabloids? Did you know he also got paid to comment after she was assaulted by Chris Brown? The singer opened up about her relationship with her father in the April issue of Vogue. Ri Ri stated, “It’s really strange. That’s the only word I can think of to describe it, because you grow up with your father, you know him, you are a part of him, for goodness’ sakes! And then he does something so bizarre that I can’t begin to wrap my mind around it.” She added, “You hear the horror stories about people going behind people’s backs and doing strange things, but you always think, Not my family. My father would never do that to me.”

We reported earlier that Lady Gaga helped design a five-dollar wristband to be sold to help raise money for relief in Japan, and apparently, it’s been a huge success. Lady Antebellum are already giving fans a sneak peek at new music, previewing a brand-new, intimate tune called “Just A Kiss” for the crowd at a recent rodeo show in Houston. The song features Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley singing to each other, while Dave Haywood accompanies them on piano. Though Charles is happily married, and Hillary has a sweetheart of her own in musician Chris Tyrell, she admits the musical chemistry between the two has long sparked rumors of a romance, which still bring the trio laughs (See Related Cut #6). CHRIS BROWN BEGINS ANOTHER ALBUM?
Even though his upcoming F.A.M.E. album has not hit stores yet, NeonLimeLight.com reports Chris Brown has already started working on his next project. During a recent listening party held in Los Angeles, the singer told the crowd, “I’m coming out with another album six months later.” Apparently, Breezy recorded over 400 songs while creating F.A.M.E., which is due out next Tuesday. Brown’s follow-up to FA.M.E. is tentatively titled Fortune.

A SECOND HONEYMOON FOR KATY & RUSSELL?
Katy Perry and Russell Brand want to go on a second honeymoon. The couple went on their first in the Maldives in the Indian Ocean, but according to British paper The Sun, the comedian wants to go on a month-long excursion with his wife to the Far East, and that “even if a great film role” were to come up, he would turn it down so they could spend some quality time together. A source told the paper that Katy also has said she wants some time off after she finishes her Teenage Dream tour.
