Fullsteam Brewery in Durham, North Carolina has just announced Lost In The Trees Farmhouse Ale. The group‘s singer and songwriter Ari Picker helped choose the flavors and offered up creative input into this one of a kind ale being made from local harvested figs.
“In the late summer and early fall, dozens of friends and supporters of the brewery harvested figs from local trees. Some gathered figs from their own backyard. Others asked a neighbor for permission to pick their tree,” explains Sean Lilly Wilson, Fullsteam’s Chief Executive Optimist. “A few brought organic figs they sell at the farmers market. All brought them to Fullsteam for inclusion in this collaborative offering.
