Musical pioneers Goldfrapp announce their brand new single ‘Rocket’ to be released through Mute March 9th 2010. Fizzy with inspiration, ‘Rocket’ is a goose-bump brilliant tune and is taken from the duo’s fifth album ‘Head First’, released on March 23, 2010.
Celebrating the release of “Head First” Goldfrapp will make their long-awaited Hollywood Bowl debut (Los Angeles, CA) with a rush of upbeat synth pop. This show is part of the KCRW’s World Festival series.
Also appearing: Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club featuring Omara Portuondo. Omara Portuondo, the legendary Cuban vocalist from the Buena Vista Social Club (and former dancer and singer at the famed Tropicana Club), performs nostalgic torch songs and salsa rhythms.
