With a year’s worth of continuous praise from her home base U.K, now enthusiastically echoed by leading-edge Stateside cognoscenti and media tastemakers, the debut American EP by the warm-voiced, strikingly visual and greatly gifted singer-songwriter V V BROWN will be released digitally October 20, 2009.
Titled, The Attic EP, the four-track digital tracklisting is: “Game Over,” “Quick Fix,” along with “Crying Blood (Andrew Weatherall Remix),” and an acoustic performance of “Shark in the Water.” — all key tracks from her forthcoming album. The first U.S. physical release, a 7-inch single, is scheduled for November 17th – “LEAVE! (Little Boots Mix)” coupled with “Crying Blood (Andrew Weatherall Remix).” The full album TRAVELLING LIKE THE LIGHT, described in the U.K. press as “a perfect pop cocktail” (The Sun) and “Spector-ish pop as slick as her black pompadour…her vocal shines through every track” (Elle), is set for U.S. release on February 9, 2010.
