What a year it has been for Kings of Leon. The Nashville-based rockers had previously scored success in Europe but never broke through in the U-S until a song called “Sex on Fire” hit the airwaves. The band’s fourth album, Only By The Night, has now been on the Billboard album chart for one year and has sold over one-million copies. The album debuted at number five one year ago and dropped all the way to number 78 a few weeks later, before shooting back up the chart in May. Only by the Night has not slipped below number 18 since mid-May and is currently at number 11. The album has sold over 1.3-million copies and spawned a huge crossover hit with “Use Somebody.”
