MOD ClassicTK Release Title Track from New EP H8 + Watch Official Music Video
Thrash band MOD ClassicTK released the official music video for the title track “H8” today. The single is from their new EP titled H8 that released to the masses on July 30th via Force 5 Records. The 5 song EP was produced by Tim McMurtrie and Eric Rachel and was mixed by Eric Rachel.
DOCTOR SMOKE: shred heavy with new video “The Rope”
Ohio-based occult metal foursome DOCTOR SMOKE teamed up with Invisible Oranges to present their third video “The Rope”, an intense 3-minute anthem filled with skyscraping riffing and deliciously demented hooks. Their new album ‘Dreamers and the Dead’ will be issued on September 3rd on Ripple Music.

Kitner Releases “Junebug” Music Video
Boston emo-rock outfit, Kitner, would like to take you on a guided tour of “Kitner Creek” today. The band has released a music video for their new single, “Junebug”, that takes a page from a recognizable teen drama from the 90’s. “Junebug” evokes a sense of nostalgia, friendship, and fun that is all captured by director Cait Brown and the video is streaming exclusively at Chorus.FM. “Junebug” will be available on digital platforms on Friday, August 27th. Kitner will release their debut album, Shake the Spins, on Relief Map Records on October 1st, 2021.

THE LA MAYBE Release Official Lyric Video for “When I’m Gone”! Debut LP, ‘Dirty Damn Tricks,’ Out NOW!
Carolinas based heavy rock band THE LA MAYBE–fronted by lead singer Alvi Robinson, made famous when he was nearly selected to front the legendary band AC/DC in 2016–have released the official lyric video for “When I’m Gone,” off of their debut album, Dirty Damn Tricks.
“In 2015 a close friend of the band committed suicide. While we can’t ever fully erase the pain of such an event, we wrote “When I’m Gone” as a form of therapy and to hopefully inspire others with a message of hope.

“This Cannot Wait (Until Tomorrow)” is a plea to act (really, really) fast on climate change. As most of us are by now very well aware, the adverse effects of climate change are manifesting all around the world, in real time. My social media feeds are crammed with dire and insistent warnings from scientists, experts and activists, and newsreels showing floods, fires, hurricanes and other horrific, climate related catastrophes. All of this chatter and imagery were swirling around in my head at the time of writing this song.
Documentary: “Where We’re From: Rise of L.A. Underground Hip Hop”
This is a first-hand look at the fertile but often overlooked scene that produced legendary West Coast figures in hip-hop that made impacts globally. A labor of love, the documentary was produced and directed by DJ Bonds and DJ Breeze, who were the founders and producers of Club Elements. From roughly 1998 – 2002, Elements went from a underground club night to hosting showcases at the El Rey Theater for national acts to even producing live events for Fat Beats and Rawkus Records.

Soul Blind conjure a ‘90s alt-rock fever dream on new single “Third Chain”
Today, Hudson Valley, NY quartet, Soul Blind, have shared “Third Chain”, the lead single off their upcoming EP of the same name set for release on September 16th. “Third Chain” is guitar-laden rock at its finest; fiercely melodic and groovy with an angular heaviness that recalls Mezcal Head-era Swervedriver. The video is a swirling kaleidoscope of performance shots filmed through a fisheye lens, depicting a style and color palette evocative of the bands that influenced them. On the three-song EP, Soul Blind provides a contemporary sensibility to the fuzzed-out sounds of ’90s alt-rock and grunge, while tackling the emotions that come with self-reflection and outward relationships.
