Emika will this year mark the tenth anniversary of her debut self-titled album. A new body of work titled Vega will be unveiled throughout the year, comprising a trilogy of three collections of songs. This will feature some reimagined versions of classic tracks from her Ninja Tune catalogue, including “Professional Loving” (which was sampled by The Weeknd on his track “Professional”). Vega will also showcase new material including collaborations with Horace Andy (Massive Attack), Liela Moss (The Duke Spirit), and techno behemoth Rødhåd.

The Tin Can Collective is a Long Island based melodic, emo punk band releasing their fourth album, Axiomatic Alarm Clock TODAY! Always earnest and full of intent, the band is considered a “band’s band” because of their cult following and chaotic live shows. Axiomatic Alarm Clock explores the struggle to find meaning in a 40 hour workweek. Its blue collar, relatable, just the right amount of angry.
John Warren of the band says the album touches on “existential dread, loathing of the corporate world, and trying to function in society while masking depression and anxiety.” (Relatable!)
