FENIX FLEXIN SHARES NEW VIDEO & SINGLE “FOR ME”
Former Shoreline Mafia member, Fenix Flexin has just shared his first video single as a solo artist, “For Me.” The Ron Ron and Menace produced track sees Fenix leaning into his newfound autonomy, lacing a laidback trap melody with boastful bars detailing his capricious lifestyle. The new track also arrives with an After Pangea directed video featuring cameos from former Shoreline members Rob Vicious and Master Kato as well as Fenix and riders from his new Burnt Co skate team dropping in on the recently opened bowl at Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson’s new West Adams clothing store, Babylon. “For Me” is the first single from Fenix Flexin’s upcoming debut project which he’ll be announcing soon. In addition to his new music, Fenix has also been forging a deeper connection to Los Angeles’ skate scene with the recent launch of his new skateboard and lifestyle apparel brand, Burnt Company.
JAWNY Premieres New Song & Video “Take It Back;” ‘The Story of Hugo’ EP To Be Released July 15
Fueled by furious guitar riffs, thrashing rhythms, and triumphant gang vocals, “Take It Back” picks up where “Best Thing” ends, a clamorous amble into pure rock ‘n’ roll. Pulling on his love of The White Stripes and The Beastie Boys, “Take It Back” is an immediate, instantly catchy track that reaffirms JAWNY’s talent for transmitting raw emotion in massively memorable yet unpredictable pop songs. As the track takes on a wild velocity, JAWNY brings a bit of lucid self-reflection to the chorus (“If she never loved me then I’m better off alone”), ultimately twisting that revelation into a cathartic rallying cry.

YN Jay and Louie Ray Flash Impeccable Chemistry in “The Fawk Up” Video
Rhyming with a knowing smirk, YN Jay captivates audiences with his surreal sense of humor. Connecting once again with his friend and fellow Flint, MI native Louie Ray, the rapper also known as the “Coochie Man” shares “The Fawk Up,” his new music video. Armed with a hyperactive beat from Flint sound architect YungWayne616, which layers foreboding church bells over antsy piano arpeggios and stutter-stepping low-end, Jay and Ray unleash a torrent of off-color quotables about their favorite topics: “Little ass watch on your arm got your wrist mad,” spits Jay. In the video, directed by 2M Digital, the two rappers chill in their all-white Audi as Jay mugs for the camera with a series of wide-eyed grins. “The Fawk Up” follows Jay and Louie Ray’s video for “The Mafia,” from their 2020 mixtape The Scoutsi, and the more recent video for the ENRGY-produced “Coochie Language,” released earlier this month and praised by HotNewHipHop.

Chrystal Für was born three years ago in the high desert mountains of central Mexico during Chris Vibberts’ year and a half sabbatical from film scoring and producing in his California recording studio, The Rabbit Hole Recording. It was a sabbatical that turned into a way of life. Inspired by the act of jumping ship from the rat race, slowing down, and focusing on the intricate, elemental beauty that surrounds us at every moment just waiting to be noticed, he began to create music that reflected this new way of being in the world.
GHASTLY: Finnish Death Metal Outfit Streams Entire Mercurial Passages LP
All the elements that made GHASTLY’s praised Death Velour album a rarified jewel return in full splendor on Mercurial Passages; the memorably eerie slow burn buildups, the frantically vivid outbursts of speed, and dramatic trance inducing doom fragments that create a hypnotic psychedelia akin to being lost in infinite labyrinthine corridors perpetually folding in on themselves. Death metal for altered states of consciousness and mystifying wonder, rather than corporeal rot and earthbound materialism.

listen to my new song anxiety
Over the past year, I dove deep into self-reflection, questioning who I am and who I want to become. In many ways, the song that I am sharing with you today feels like my first ever release, as it was created during a time when I removed outside influences and focused on myself.
JUSTICE CARRADINE WILL BE “OKAY”
“I was at a breaking point when I wrote this song,” says Justice. “At the time, my home life was rough and I was really struggling with my mental health. Being in that space while trying to understand life as a teenager, I kinda just wished someone cared enough to ask me if I was okay. This song was a way for me to do that for myself.”
