Following the announcement of his highly-anticipated new album ‘Europiana’, Jack Savoretti reveals the sun-drenched video for his disco fuelled new single ‘Who’s Hurting Who’, featuring Nile Rodgers.
Directed by Giorgio Testi (The 1975, Celeste, Gorillaz) and production company Pulse Films, the 70s inspired video is shot between London and Portofino, Italy. Featuring Dot Williams and Nile Rodgers, the retro video takes us on a journey through Europiana. “It’s a patchwork of postcards, it’s a suggestion rather than a story.” Jack says of the video.

NGAIIRE signs to Majestic Casual, Releases ‘Boom’ Lyric Video
YouTube tastemaker and artist incubator Majestic Casual announces the signing of future-soul darling NGAIIRE. The signing comes as the Papua New Guinea (PNG) born, Sydney-based artist prepares for the release of her third studio album (due out August 2021).

Palehound’s Ellen Kempner and Jay Som’s Melina Duterte recently announced their new collaborative project Bachelor and shared acclaimed first single “Anything At All”. Today, the duo announces their debut album – Doomin’ Sun due out May 28 on Lucky Number – alongside brand new “Stay in the Car” track and music video directed & edited by Haoyan of America. On the bass-heavy rock song, the duo paint a yearning portrait of a woman in a supermarket parking lot, a barely-contained desire oozing out of cotidian descriptions like: “She burns out of the market/ Plastic bags digging into wrists/ Blood stuck in her fingertips.”

Allison Ponthier Releases New Song and Video “Harshest Critic”
Written by Ponthier and collaborator Adam Melchor, “Harshest Critic” uses the relationship between performer and her audience as the lens through which the Texas native turned New York transplant can tackle her own insecurities. “I’m terrified / Of the way I look when it’s through strangers’ eyes / Wish I had a way to peek inside their minds / But it wouldn’t fix the problems I see through mine,” she sings over gauzy guitars and a steady drumbeat, mirroring the thumping of her heart as her thoughts unspool. The song further contextualizes Allison’s complicated journey from a young teen growing up in the bible belt and struggling with her sexuality. “Harshest Critic” is yet another feather in the cap of an artist on the verge of stardom.
