Steve Hewitt Returns With ‘Dreaming Again’ Single & Video Release
Ahead of the track’s digital release on 23rd April 2021, UK’s acoustic singer songwriter Steve Hewitt delivers his official music video for ‘Dreaming Again’ . A single that showcases Hewitt’s flare for unashamedly fusing folk-roots, pop and country flavours into his own distinctive sound.
Accompanied by a scenic and atmospheric visual, Dreaming Again lyrically resonates with a theme of renewed hope and optimism for life and the future. The song is Hewitt’s first single release of 2021 and his first collaboration with producer Rob Townley. A creative relationship that has continued to evolve since Rob’s feature as session guitarist on Steve’s acclaimed debut album ‘Bigger Than Words’ (2019).

About the video, the band states:
“The video for “Don’t You Love Me” is a person’s inner monologue to their partner through song and dance. Sometimes when we argue with our partners the words don’t always come out right or we choose to bury our emotions and not say what we really mean. The video is a fictional performance of that dance you do in your bedroom to your favorite love anthem; honest, free emotion, without holding back. I wanted to visualize something that incorporated elements of the Footloose warehouse dance scene and Euphoria-style coloring. The song itself came from exploring that idea of 80’s melodrama and desperation; I tried to capture that drama in the lyric ‘ ‘Cause being alone has got me terrified.’ ”

Rising Australian punks Skegss share new single ‘Bush TV’ ahead of their new album Rehearsal out this Friday (26 March) via Loma Vista Recordings. The infectious track comes with a Jamieson Kerr-directed video, showing the freedom of the great outdoors, from riding dirt bikes on drummer Jonny Lani’s own farm, hanging with bassist Toby Cregan’s dog Blaze, to swimming, barbecuing, and drinking beers by the fire pit.
