Alt-pop Trio TWIN XL Releases New Track “Lonely” Feat. Members of Little Hurt and Rad Horror Today
“I started the idea for ‘Lonely’ in my home in Los Angeles during the middle of the night near the beginning of the first quarantine lock down. I basically just had a really simple track and melody with the mostly the same lyrics that ended up being the chorus of the song. It was one of those ideas that I wasn’t really thinking about too much, just writing what I felt in that moment. I wanted to capture the feeling of isolation in the realest way possible.

We’d already finished the record by the time the pandemic started, but we hadn’t decided on when or how to release it. I kept hearing about pop stars shooting music videos with iPhones so I thought I’d give it a try, since I’d never made a music video at all before. After a few months of trial and error we released my first video, ‘How Can You Walk Away’, and people liked it well enough for me to make another one”.
Babygirl Release “You Were In My Dream Last Night” Single & Video

When you fall in love for the first time, it’s really hard to imagine it’s ever going to end. And when it does, that idea of “forever” is still lodged somewhere in your subconscious. You visit it and watch it disappear all over again.”

I knew I needed to make a song with him…and now here’s ‘I’m Not Going Back.’ We worked remotely because of the COVID situation (and because I’m in Lisbon and he’s from the U.S.). The song was born in an incredibly difficult but inspirational period that I was living in. I’m so happy with the final result simply because it completely represents my mood during that period of time.”

Aubrey Haddard Revisits An Intoxicating Romance in “Portuguese Red”
“”Jungle Out There” is what we think would happen if guitar hero Eddie Van Halen, had a baby with the ragtime composer, Scott Joplin in 2021. The catchy and jaunty single has some arpeggiated piano, bouncy bass, foot-tapping rim shots and slick guitar work to start off. Then the track picks up speed and so does the shredding by virtuoso Alessandro Meynardi, aka AM Dandy, as the range and preciseness he displays, is simply jaw-dropping. When the track ends, you really have no choice, but to listen again and again to try to comprehend it all…it’s that good.” (Pancakes and Whiskey)
