DANA DENTATA SHARES “DO U LIKE ME NOW?” OFFICIAL VIDEO

Dana Dentata expanded on the genesis of the song and video concept telling PAPER, “I saw the ‘Do You Like Me Now?’ video by 12-year-old Eliza one day at the studio and I thought it was bad ass. It instantly inspired me to talk about all the other bullshit things that are expected of us and projected at us. I related to it because I was actually in a relationship where I had to drastically change my hair, clothes, nails, my personality, everything for someone, I was really screaming a form of ‘do you like me now, bitch?’ inside. Being able to recreate this experience but take his ass out and free my inner child was my redemption. I feel like the song and video have the same energy as Eliza’s original video and whether you are a 12-year-old girl or a porn star we can all relate to feeling pressured by society to change ourselves. To have Eliza in it made the video so meaningful and literal.”

Shannon McNally Gives Classic Outlaw Songs A Fresh Voice With Her New Album The Waylon Sessions

With her new album, The Waylon Sessions, the prolific and wide-ranging Shannon McNally set out to revisit the songs and spirit of Waylon Jennings, a legend with whom she’s always had an ongoing fascination. “I have always loved his defiantly existential but immediately accessible common man’s music and how it boogies,” says McNally. But her collection of tunes ended up being not so much a tribute as it is a recontextualization; a nuanced, feminine rendering of a catalog long considered a bastion of hetero-masculinity.

Country Newcomer Brady Lee Releases New Single “Liquorish”

“Liquorish was a lightbulb moment for me. When I first moved to town, this girl named Allie was a part of the crew that I rolled with. She was into me, I was into her, but it wasn’t until I was a junior in high school that I had the courage to ask her out. We got married when I was 21. I wanted to write a song that perfectly captured the moment when I realized that I wanted more than a friendship. Liquorish is my love story,” Brady explains.

Nano Talrose – My debut single “Talk You Down”

My new single, “Talk You Down,” which was inspired after multiple conversations with my best friend of 10 years. I wanted to write a song to set the standard of how you could help your significant other when they have anxiety.

When you are involved with someone who is facing anxiety, overthinking and worrying, you have to be aware that this mental state is not something they can easily control.

Your heart is all I know when I’m alone is all about reassuring your loved one that they are all you want, all you think about.
