Dutch DJ and producer Mike Williams has joined forces with Norwegian artist Jonas Aden on new single ‘I Hope You Know’, out 29th January via Universal Music.
Announcing itself with fluttering guitar chords, ‘I Hope You Know’ is an emotion-drenched electronic dance ballad, combining soaring vocals, subtle piano keys and the most euphoric of drops. It follows ‘Face Up To The Sun’, a similarly collaborative single with Justin Mylo and Sara Sangfelt, released at the tail-end of last year.

This record has been out of print for 25 years and has been going for up to $275 regularly on Discogs, it’s also an essential piece of the LILYS story since it includes the band’s biggest hit, “Ginger.”

Yuksek & Dombrance remix Polocorp single ‘Gnawa’
French artists Yuksek and Dombrance have remixed Polocorp’s latest single ‘Gnawa’, out 29th January.
First up, Yuksek delivers a driving, high-energy rework of ‘Gnawa’, while maintaining the hypnotic vibe that makes the original so special. Dombrance’s remix is a more blissed-out affair, with the Paris-based artist adding soothing piano chords to make for a more downbeat take on the track.
NORWEGIAN ARTIST TUVABAND MAKES U.S. DEBUT WITH “GROWING PAINS & PLEASURES” OUT 5/21/21
Over the last few years Norwegian artist Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser – who records under the moniker Tuvaband – has proven herself a master of crafting songs that capture a special atmosphere in her sound, paint a shapeshifting world of burning emotion, and music that spellbinds.

Space Cadet happened by accident. Friends of almost 25 years, Dave Walsh and Matt Hock had each been writing and recording eerily similar songs, completely oblivious to each other’s work. What’s all the more surprising is that it wasn’t the punk of The Explosion (Virgin, Jade Tree), the band they formed together with friends in 1998. Instead, the music was indicative of other sounds they’re into – post-punk, new wave, Brit Rock – not to mention their shared obsession with guitar pedals. German film composer Jan Weber releases new album following his ALS diagnosis.
A new cycle begins for the German film composer Jan Weber who returns with the album “Poems of An Extinct Species” of his project ART NOIR after a decade since the album “Silent Green”.
Diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in 2015, Jan had just begun to lay down the framework for the album, when he was still able to move his fingers. With the loss of voluntary muscle movement slowly progressing, he needed an assistive eye-tracking communication device to complete the recording over the following 5 years. The production, mixing and mastering of the album was later supported by Thomas Navas (Lost in the Void) and Stefan Vesper (Steve Dragon, In Strict Confidence).
