Today we’re excited to introduce you to Yarin Glam. Born and raised in a small town in Israel called Arad, Yarin moved out to LA at the age of 14. Yarin’s middle eastern background shines through her music subtly with a goal of bringing her authentic self into the project.
On her new single “Free”, the first off her forthcoming EP Realness, Glam confronts the stigma surrounding body image and anorexia head on, drawing from her own struggles for an emotionally bare and hook laden confessional. When the groovy chorus blossoms and Yarin sings “I could use some help” in her emotive falsetto, it’s hard to deny her talent.

On the single, she writes –
“The first single off the EP that I’ll be releasing is called Free, a song that is very close to my heart. It’s the single I’ve shared most about how I’ve felt during my struggle with anorexia. I’m a person that generally keeps to myself… i’ve never mentioned my struggles with the disorder until a recent breakthrough in therapy. I recall I went to the studio and something in me was like okay today is the day you’re going to really push yourself and share what it’s like, and the darkness in it.”
