NETHERBLADE: Italian thrashers premiere “Braindamage” lyric video
The song is taken from the band’s debut album “Reborn”, out now via Dark Hammer Legion/Volcano Records.
Having channelled their primal instincts with simple yet effective fare on a couple of singles and an EP in four years, the band on their debut album sound straightforward while occasionally offering some acutely atmospheric and almost progressive moments, bearing comparisons with Exodus, Death Angel, Artillery and even old Machine Head.

Featuring merciless firsthand commentary, Times Like Those finds Foo Fighters making the most of their pandemic downtime, as they narrate a carousel of versions of the band and its individual members’ various versions of themselves over the years—some with different hair, some bigger, some smaller, some with different numbers of toes…
POSTDATA (feat. members of Wintersleep, Frightened Rabbit & Ali Chant producing) | Shares New Single & Announces Album
POSTDATA’s always operated as something of a collaborative project for Murphy – D’Eon and Monaghan featured on the previous record, this new one also features Chant and was recorded in isolation before being sent between Halifax/K’jipuktuk and Chant’s studio in Bristol. There’s something really reflective of the Transatlantic travels in the music and also in the album art/visuals that feature striated rock, an image taken by Yarmouth-based photographer Bill Curry. This striated rock is somewhat reflective of the album’s wider themes that detail the personal skirmishes we each endure, and the weathered individuals we become off the back of them.

Anthemic indie-rock wave with Crumbsnatchers “Satin Glow” (Music Video)
Indie rockers Crumbsnatchers share their catchiest single yet with an infectious hit and music video titled “Satin Glow”. A nostalgic indie-rock / indie-pop tune comes as an anthemic feel-good wave, clutching to the last warmth of summer and throwback to simpler times. After the stress of 2020, it comes as a delightful relief.
The single is accompanied by an equally fantastic and eccentric music video released today – the band drives around town in a “couch-car”, there’s an iconic wedding dress, and some pyrotechnics are thrown in for good measure. They take viewers away from their worries of the year – if only for a brief moment.

JAFFNA “Headlines”
There’s a certain amount of raw anger attached to the sound of this one – the disorienting vocals, the brooding bassline and heavy dub notes all combine to create an edgy atmosphere.

Roots of Creation and Mighty Mystic Release The Anthem We All Need Right Now With “Light it Up”
The Billboard chart topping band, Roots of Creations have created their second and most exciting collaboration yet with Jamaican reggae sensation Mighty Mystic on the new single “Light It Up.”
In current times of political upheaval, global distress, and shifting astrological tides, “Light It Up” reminds us that sometimes an anthem is all we need to reconnect to the here-and-now. Although RoC is known for diverse dynamics and sounds ranging from dub to hard rock, here the band settles into a propulsive rhythm that doesn’t break for the track’s 4:20 run time. Leave it to Brett Wilson’s chorus “Damn, it feels good to be alive” to ring like medicine for a 2020 blight. And with Mighty Mystic providing slinky verses like “Yeah it’s a party yo/ spliff and Bacardi yo/ kick like karate yo/ sweat like a cardio” we have something fun, triumphant, and true to Reggae roots. So far new song has received critical accolades with their debuted on SiriusXM’s The Joint, and heavy rotation on Cali Roots radio.
