York, PA Heavy Rock Band SMALL TOWN TITANS are taking on the absurdity of the world’s modern social media obsession with their new single and music video, “Rufflin’ Feathers.” The fresh new single features the trio’s trademark sound with a blistering melody, driving rhythm and front-man Phillip Nathaniel Freeman’s extraordinary vocal domination.
Directed by Josh Nesmith and Ben Guiles (guitarist), “Rufflin’ Feathers” is the 5th single off of the band’s upcoming LP, The Ride, due out November 13, 2020 via AntiFragile Music.
Ahya Simone unveils “Frostbite” video
Detroit-based harpist and singer Ahya Simone premieres her video for “Frostbite” today, directed by Hong Kong director and photographer Jayne Lies.
Simone’s debut single, “Frostbite” is produced in collaboration with Pique Records co-founder Mountain.
Of the song, Ahya explains, “‘Frostbite’ is a conversation about the feeling of being isolated while longing for connection and belonging. I wrote this song 3 years ago, during a time I was grieving a relationship and the loss of my two aunts. At the same time, I moved into my own place so I had a lot of solitude.”

BPMD Shares Eddie Van Halen Tribute Video Featuring American Made “D.O.A.” Cover
BPMD – featuring Bobby Blitz (Overkill) on vocals, drummer Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Sons of Apollo), bassist Mark Menghi (Metal Allegiance) and guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head) – released their debut full-length album of ’70s rock covers, American Made, this past June via Napalm Records. It’s no surprise that the members of BPMD consider the late Eddie Van Halen one of their biggest musical influences, therefore, the the inclusion of an impassioned cover of Van Halen’s “D.O.A.” on the album was a given. With the recent news of Eddie Van Halen’s passing, the band has come together to honor the guitar icon with a heartwarming video of their favorite EVH images, featuring their tribute cover. Alternative metal band, ALBORN, released a brand new single titled “Full Circle.” The song was mixed by Elvis Baskette and produced by Jose Urqiuza (3 Years Hollow) and Morgan Rose (Sevendust).
The band recently signed a distribution deal with Imagen Records (ADA, Warner Music). and released their debut EP Impairative on August 28, 2020.

EA Games taps Dim Mak to curate a bespoke remix package of the original score to Real Racing 3 in celebration of Formula 1’s 70th Anniversary. For the 2020 season, Dim Mak artists have been commissioned to remix three songs by Australian producer Ryan Kurt, who created the Real Racing 3 soundtrack last year. Brazilian producer RICCI contributes a flavorful rework of “Time,” firing off snappy, bass house rhythms suited for supersonic gameplay. The remix drops in-game with Real Racing 3’s latest update and is additionally available on all DSPs.

Pearl Charles shares new single from “Magic Mirror,” out 1/15 on Kanine
Charles has been playing music since she was five years old. At 18, she formed country duo The Driftwood Singers with Christian Lee Hutson, singing and playing guitar and autoharp. At 22, she joined garage rock band The Blank Tapes as a drummer. After a few fun-filled years immersed in the rock and roll lifestyle, she decided it was time to pursue her own songwriting, and began developing the songs that formed 2015’s eponymous debut EP and additional debut LP that came out in 2017 on Kanine Records.
