SCARD – led by one J. Huston – began in 2001 in Seattle, moving to Portland a year later. Drawing from dark ambient, power electronics, death industrial, and black noise, SCARD combines their personal origins in the forested regions of Oregon with eventual scum of city life to create a harsh, layered, and multi-faceted sound.

Brothers Osborne’s New Album Skeletons Out Today
Today, Brothers Osborne, the six-time GRAMMY-nominated band, release Skeletons via EMI Nashville. With „Memories”, Mainz-based emo rock group Oh, Heaven release their fourth and last single off their upcoming “Snooze” EP. Similar to their song “Bed”, “Memories” is also a calm song dealing with a sensible theme. While Oh, Heaven showed themselves primarily from their energetic side, “Memories” goes the depressing way and delivers an alt rock ballad about the feeling of forgetting, as singer Gregory explains:
“The song is about forgetting and the will of being forgotten. Especially when it comes to things that one shouldn’t forget at all. It’s about forgetting something that is part of yourself, but you just don’t want to think of it anymore.”

THE TROOPS OF DOOM features guitarist Jairo “Tormentor” Guedz, a current member of The Mist as well as a former member of Sepultura’s original lineup playing author and co-author to the band’s classic albums Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions. A beautiful easy, breezy, feel good gem, Izzy wrote “MG” with good friends Tancrede Rouff and Dom McAllister, who also features on the track. Izzy met Dom when he supported her on her European Tour in 2017 and they have been friends ever since.
On her new single, Izzy shares, “Originally the song was about a promise that my Dad made to me that one day we would buy an MG. We used to walk past the MG store and he would ask me to pick out my favourite and said we would buy it one day and drive away on an adventure. He wasn’t around long enough to be able to do that, so it was emotional to do the video but also an amazing experience.”

Celeste Releases New Song and Video “Hear My Voice”
UK soul singer Celeste releases her new song “Hear My Voice” today via Interscope Records. “Hear My Voice’ was co-written with Golden Globe®-nominated composer Daniel Pemberton and is the focus track of the Netflix film The Trial of the Chicago 7, written and directed by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Aaron Sorkin (Molly’s Game, The Social Network). “Hear My Voice,” which is considered to be an awards contender by Variety, along with Pemberton’s score, is one of three original songs performed by Celeste on the upcoming soundtrack release.
