Styled, directed and post-produced by Iyamah herself, the official video for ‘Won’t Work’ was filmed during a trip to India. With shots of her weaving through Indian markets and lush landscapes on a scooter, the visuals successfully capture her strength and spirituality.

London based dark-pop artist Circe releases cinematic new single ‘Ten Girls’ on July 29th via Jazz Life.
Circe takes cues from artistic icons Bjork, Grimes and FKA Twigs in her atmospheric sound, as well as a devastating recourse to aesthetic. Sonically she filters visceral synths through a sepia-toned filter, inspired by eerie soundtracks, painting a universe which is at once apocalyptic and claustrophobic, but also romantic and melancholy. Key touchstones are the symphonic and suffocating scores for Stranger Things and David Lynch films.

Ron Gallo has returned with the announcement of his upcoming LP, PEACEMEAL Via Flood. With the album announcement came the release of his latest video, “WUNDAY.” “It’s an introvert summertime party jam celebrating alone time and isolation, but then after too much solo time starting to go crazy.,” he shares of the track. “I think I wanted this song to sound like Will Smith’s outfits in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, blending the jazz chords with an old-school boom-bap beat. A very simple, sort of stupid, feel good song.”

Elrichman Shares New Single: ‘Seeking Grey Skies’

Hear Actress Remix LEYA’s “Wave” via The FADER
British electronic musician Darren Cunningham, better known as Actress, has lent his expansive vision to “Wave,” the second track from the NYC-based duo’s acclaimed March 2020 release, Flood Dream. “When I heard and saw the video for “Wave” by LEYA I experienced one of those rare moments when time stood still outside of my own practice,” Actress told The FADER over email for the track’s premiere. The previously cyclic and lilting tune is stretched into an 8-minute landscape in Cunningham’s hands, a trickling, groaning, subterranean ebb that eventually opens skyward while never straying from the thread-like meditation that is a defining theme in LEYA’s work.
