2019 was a whirlwind for Perfume, they were the first J-POP group to perform at Coachella, they sold out their Perfume WORLD TOUR 4TH “Future Pop” and released their brand new best album Perfume The Best “P Cubed”.
2020 will prove to be just as exciting, the trio have shared the first video of the year, for fan favorite track, “Challenger”. When Perfume The Best “P Cubed” was released last fall, Perfume announced the launch of the Perfume “Challenger” music video plan contest where they called on fans of all ages, professions, anywhere in the world to send their own ideas for the video. Contestants who made the first cut presented their ideas directly to Perfume, choreographer/creative director MIKIKO and video director Seki, and the winning idea became the music video for “Challenger.”

They’ve become representatives of futuristic, elegant electro-pop, and their most recent album Future Pop took steps that much further by weaving future bass into their sound.” – Billboard
“Their highly anticipated festival set will mark a turning point for J-pop in the West, as well as an international career high for a group already celebrated as phenomenons in the Eastern music market.” – PAPER

“Perfume has been one of the most ubiquitous and highest-selling artists in Japan for more than a decade, with a distinctive electro-pop sound backed by a stylish, futuristic image.
