East Nashville, TN based Hard Rock band VOLTAGEHAWK has released the official lyric video for “Modern Gasoline.” Created by Jarrad James, “Modern Gasoline” is off of the band’s debut, self-titled EP.

Acclaimed UK producer and engineer Matt Karmil will release his new album, STS371, on March 27th via Smalltown Supersound, and today presents a new single, “210.” Following lead single “PB,” “210” opens with shuffling synthesizer, later quickening with a muted, staccato beat.
“210 is named after a hotel room in Amsterdam,” says Karmil, “although not one I’ve ever stayed in. I like the way the chord hangs in the air and it’s, to me at least, somehow both intimate and urgent.”

The video premiered via new FLOOD Magazine where the band’s Curt Kiser (lead vocals, guitar) shared, “It was mainly inspired by a vivid dream I had about seven years ago. It reminds me of the power and comfort that songwriting holds for me, and the value in taking time to realize a song. Sometimes what we need to hear most may come to us through unlikely messengers, like a stranger or a dream. I hope this song encourages listeners to be open to those messages, however familiar the source.
Tungz flex familiarities on new single ‘Can’t We Just Be Friends Again’
The day the EP dropped, was the day principal songwriters Nicky Green and Jamie Maier had to move from their Bristol home. With no tangible plans, the pair found themselves sofa surfing around London. Migratory and provisional, writing and recording was implemented in whatever temporary space they found themselves. Months of limbo passed until the day came to move into a place of their own; coincidentally and symbolically, the same day the band signed to label home Heist or Hit.
Norwegian producer and singer Jon Olav releases second single ‘Stupid’
At the heart of Jon Olav’s music is a deep understanding of sparsity. Uniting elements of alternative pop with glitchy electronics and intriguing production nuances– new single ‘Stupid’, released today 17th March, is a stunning place to start.
The original instrumental stemmed from Jon experimenting with samples: “I fell in love with a particular sample from an old cassette machine. I don’t think we ever found out what it was, but it was amazing. From there the song made itself in a way.” Brought to life with a deep rumbling bass part, with Jon’s high-reaching falsetto sitting atop – ‘Stupid’ lyrically is something of a self-confession.

Elysium is a Folk Gothic Rock band with female vocal and violin drawing inspiration from early Whitin Temptation and Nightwish, as well as from the most popular European prog & folk rock acts like Anathema, Eluveite & Pineapple Thief. The band makes frequent incursions in classic rock, folk and prog. The use of keyboards and orchestration sequences enriches the songs and adds a symphonic edge to them, going to duet with violin and guitar.
Elysium was originally formed in Orvieto, Italy, in early 2013 by bassist Marco Monetini, the violinist Christian Arlechino giving to the band a prog and folk and powerful rock sound with the infusion of pop-soul voices by the singer Daphne Nisi.

Featuring artwork from Azerbaijani visual artist Faig Ahmed, Utopia explores a reinvention of traditional Persian music through contemporary electronic influence.
“I try not to let my skin or background guide my narrative, but they’ve become so hard to ignore lately,” says Nick. “The negative lens on my Iranian heritage seems to have been magnified, a narrow perspective formed by misunderstanding. I wrote Utopia to flip the lens.”
