Louis Tomlinson releases his debut solo album, Walls, today via Arista/SYCO. Upon release the album shot to number 1 on iTunes in 47 countries. Of the release, Louis says, “Honestly, I’ve been through every emotion possible in the past few years and come out the other side stronger and more confident than I’ve ever been. I know I’ve made an album that my fans will like, one that sounds like me and has its own identity. There were times I wasn’t sure if this was what I should be doing. Now I can’t imagine doing anything else.”

Harris’ new limited engagement residency, exclusive to OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace, includes seven dates throughout 2020 beginning Friday, April 24.
Harris’ residency extension announcement follows shortly after the January 23 release of his new project Love Regenerator, which includes two tracks ‘Hypnagogic (I Can’t Wait)’ and ‘CP-1’.

Lido Pimienta has announced the release of Miss Colombia (17th April via ANTI-), the anticipated follow-up to La Papessa, which was awarded the Polaris Music Prize in 2017. The Colombian-born, Toronto-based global beats trailblazer recorded the album in her home studio, with some additional recording done in the historic Colombian town of San Basilio de Palenque. Miss Colombia boasts 11 new and original songs that boldly celebrate Lido’s ecstatic musical hybridity of electronic meets cumbia, and is at once defiant and delicate, exploratory and confrontational. All of the songs were written and arranged by Lido, and she co-produced the album with Matt Smith aka Prince Nifty.

Jade Hairpins return with their first shows ever and proper identities
Back in 2018, Jade Hairpins emerged mysteriously like a pair of cranes from a tall grove, shared their immediately danceable debut 12-inch single “Mother Man” b/w “Gracefully,” and just as quickly receded back into the shade.
Turns out, Jade Hairpins is the brainchild of Jonah Falco and Mike Haliechuk of Fucked Up infamy. Together, they will present the debut live performances of Jade Hairpins this month in the United Kingdom, promising more shows and music to come in 2020. For these shows, the live band will be rounded out by Tamsin M Leach and Jack Goldstein; a full list of UK dates can be found below.

“’Puppy Dog’ is a moment in time for me,” Dreamer Boy told The FADER. “I opened every show of the Clairo tour with it and the release came right in the middle of my first project and my second. I wanted this song and now the video we’ve made to be a world of its own. I want this portrayal of Dreamer Boy to feel like a specific character unique to this song. Everything from the wardrobe, props and extras were intentional in building that recognition. I was inspired by 90s fisheye videos and Wes Anderson’s trademark character/wardrobe design. The masks were the first idea and everything started to make sense from there. This was such a fun video to make with my best friends playing the supporting roles of the extras and my right hand creative partner Adam shooting it.”
