The Jonas Brothers have scored their second number one album in less than a year as their latest effort, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, debuts at the top of the Billboard album chart selling over 247-thousand copies. According to Nielsen SoundScan numbers, their last studio effort, A Little Bit Longer, bowed at number one last August, when it moved more than 525-thousand copies. The Black Eyed Peas’ The E.N.D. moves from the top spot to number two, selling 148-thousand copies. Dave Matthews Band’s Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King slides to the number three slot, while Eminem’s Relapse moves to number four. Incubus’ greatest hits collection, Monuments and Melodies debuts at number five, Lady GaGa’s The Fame holds at number six and Chickenfoot’s self-titled album falls three slots to number seven. The Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack slips one rung to number eight, Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown also drops one notch to number nine and Taylor Swift’s Fearless returns to the top ten, climbing one position.
