Chicago by way of St. Charles IL artist Jack Larsen has announced his debut LP Mildew available October 23rd via Chicago’s Closed Sessions label. The announcement of the album is accompanied by a new song “Vanity”, a driving yet reflective piece of psych-pop that’s indicative of what to expect from the album. Jack explains “Vanity was written at what I would consider a point of rock bottom in my life. Discouraged within my art and personal relationships, I wrote this song as a form of self-reflection in order to capture my feelings of vulnerability and isolation. The lyrics are straightforward and cover most of the facets I was facing: being broke and unemployed while feeling worthless and apprehensive.”
