NEMESIS ALPHA Release New Single ‘System Override’
Here’s what the band had to say about the track System Override; “The song follows the overall concept of the album, being the transitional moment when we as humans realize that our creations and technology truly have surpassed us. The entire system which we have become accustomed to, including the luxuries like electricity, cell service and communication, are stripped and people are left wondering how to survive. It is the point on the album when society as we know it begins to shut down and the real chaos begins.”

Matthew Chaim Shares New Single “Reason”
“Reason” is about the “healing effects of love,” explains Matthew Chaim. “While there is a very outgoing side to me, I often get into pretty introspective and solitary modes. I enjoy my alone time, but sometimes it leads to getting lost in my own head. When that happens and I start to head down some dark rabbit hole, it is often my little vices (like weed, TV, porn, Instagram) that I so easily turn to for relief. Vices do calm those voices and accompanying emotions down, but only for a short amount of time. What I’ve learnt, however, is that it is true connection and relating to others that can actually help us heal those spaces within us that we so often distract ourselves from. It is the love in our lives that gives us the strength to heal. Ergo, love heals. Amen.” Emotionally-piercing in all the right ways, “Reason” marks Matthew’s second single this Summer, following up on the powerful ode to loss, “Sunflowers.”

FLORA CASH RELEASE NEW SINGLE “MISSING HOME” ALONG WITH MUSIC VIDEO
Flora Cash says “We started writing “Missing Home” at some random hotel in Boston over a year ago. Away from our friends and family and all sense of the familiar, were at a low point and even though we were lucky enough to have each other, we still felt lonely. Writing this song helped. We really want “Missing Home” to speak to and encourage anyone who feels like they’re out on a limb struggling to pursue a dream. Hopefully it’s a reminder that even when it’s hard and even when it’s tempting to give it up, that it’s worth it and that we can make ‘home’ wherever we happen to be.”
Orla Gartland Releases New Single, “Did It To Myself”

Skantia Returns to Ram Records With ‘Lights’
Skantia’s output, as well as his exclusive signing to the Ram Records roster, has made him an imperative part of the current drum & bass scene, with recent single ‘Obsidian’ another exhibition of his low-rolling, dancefloor vibes. One of the youngest members of the Ram team, he’s continued on a wave of success and this is something which is set to continue with ‘Lights’. ‘Lights’ begins with a deceptive intro, before its sliced through with footwork-like snares. Skantia’s growling bass edits, which are a common factor of his production, are present throughout and it gives ‘Lights’ an added heaviness, alongside creepy atmospherics. Skantia makes a return off the back of his Eastern Electrics set in London, where ‘Lights’ did untold damage, offering a twisted sonic slammer to the Ram Records repertoire.

THE NEW REGIME RELEASE “HEART”
“People digest music differently and much quicker today than they ever have,” Rubin says, explaining why he chose to release in four parts instead of one full album all at once. “I felt like it would be doing the songs a disservice by releasing everything at once, especially since people seem to enjoy digesting music in small pieces. I’ve really tried to focus on writing songs that I find interesting. If something doesn’t have a deeper meaning or another layer that you didn’t know was there, then why would you keep listening to it? What makes it worth more than a handful of listens? This project in particular feels like a new beginning, even though it’s still me and I’m still writing, playing and singing everything. It feels very fresh and it seems like a completely different thing to me than anything I’ve done before.”
