First-of-its-kind integrated global licensing solution makes podcast licensing easier for music creators
SoundExchange today announced plans to collaborate with SourceAudio to provide a new solution for the rapidly growing podcast industry to secure music with fully integrated, global licenses. The collaboration would provide Podcastmusic.com, a digital music marketplace for podcasters, with access to SoundExchange’s vast membership of music creators and offer licensing for label and publisher-owned music.

The Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist penned the song with his collaborator, and the pair trade verses on the song about addiction,” Billboard’s Annie Rueter wrote on Friday. “Despite the dark subject matter, Rose’s warm vocals alongside slick pop production and delicate keyboard parts make for an ear-grabbing and overall uplifting track… In the video for the song, Jobe plays the role of a man struggling with addiction. The concept was taken from real life, as he and producer/co-director Olivia Timms have both dealt with addiction in their families.”

Klatt told Atwood Magazine, “Ramblin’ Kind,” is a song born out of a melody. I wrote the words at my buddies cabin in northern Minnesota on a summer’s day. I sat on the dock by the lake and let them lap against the shore. I guess you could say it’s about the beauty of hitting the bottom, a poem of redemption.”

Ed Carlsen is a composer and producer from Sardinia, Italy. Professionally trained as a guitarist, Ed ultimately began to translate these skills onto piano, using his own compositions as the foundation in which to discover the instrument. His approach to the piano was unconventional, while retaining the versatility developed through studying the guitar.
