VANDERWOLF UNLEASHES “F**KWITT MCGEE” THE FOURTH INSTALLMENT IN HIS ECLECTIC 2025 SINGLES CLUB
Vanderwolf continues his unpredictable musical journey on May 21st with the release of Fuckwitt McGee, the fourth single in his six-part Vanderwolf Singles Club. Each monthly release has ventured into new sonic and intellectual territory, and this latest track is no exception—merging satire, anthropology, and blistering rhythm in a genre-defying package.
Described as a “study in evolutionary biology,” Fuckwitt McGee introduces a tragicomic figure who represents the universal everyman—willfully ignorant, blundering through history with chaotic results.
From mundane mistakes like locking his keys in the car to catastrophic missteps with global consequences, the titular character is a symbol of civilization’s recurring folly. As Vanderwolf bluntly puts it: “If this is the norm, then what is madness?”
“Living in the UK for many years, you quickly learn all the wonderfully disparaging terms: ‘chancer’, ‘wanker’, ‘knob’… and of course ‘fuckwitt’. I borrowed the surname McGee from Kris Kristofferson’s Bobby McGee and there you have it.”

The track was recorded in Camberwell, South London, with a dynamic lineup including Chris Cordoba (guitar), Sam Sallon (keyboards), and Will Muldrew (bass). Drummer Chris Wyles delivers a standout performance, launching the track into a poly-rhythmic merengue double-time with precision and energy. In true Vanderwolf fashion, the track also features what may be rock music’s first truly compelling kazoo solo.
With two final tracks still to come, Fuckwitt McGee marks a high point in a six-month project that is as insightful as it is unclassifiable.
