Jax Gets Real with Musicat TV in Bold New Push for Teen Mental Health and Musical Empowerment

Pop sensation Jax is using her platform for more than viral hits and clever lyrics—this spring, she’s teaming up with the rising youth media brand Musicat TV to help teens navigate something far more personal: their mental health.

In a heartfelt and unfiltered new interview on The Musicat Show—Musicat TV’s vibrant, teen-hosted variety program blending music, storytelling, animation, and celebrity guests—Jax opens up about her own mental health journey. From battling anxiety to the pressures of fame, the platinum-certified singer known for “Victoria’s Secret” speaks directly to the struggles today’s teens face. Her message? “You’re not alone—ever. And your voice matters.”

It’s more than just inspiring words. Jax has also taken on the role of judge for Musicat Heals Your Heart, Musicat TV’s first-ever global songwriting contest aimed at empowering young people to express their emotions and build resilience through music. The contest drew submissions from teens around the world, all writing songs of hope, healing, and connection. The grand prize winner, Freddie Vokes of Nottingham, UK, will soon head to the studio with none other than reggae icon Maxi Priest—a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration that comes with a $1,000 prize and international recognition.

This initiative is part of the broader “Musicat Heals Your Soul” campaign, which just launched with a call for original jingles and chants centered on self-love, positivity, and mental strength. The global jingle contest is open to kids and teens everywhere, and finalists will receive mentorship from well-known artists before having their creations featured on Musicat TV and broadcast to children’s hospitals nationwide through a partnership with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation.

For Musicat TV—a creative force powered by youth—this partnership marks a major milestone. Since its inception, the brand has made it its mission to help young people process emotions and connect with others through music and storytelling. Now featured in 15 children’s hospitals across the U.S., Musicat is building a global stage for youth voices, and Jax is proving to be the perfect ally in that mission.

“Jax doesn’t sugarcoat anything—she shows up with honesty, kindness, and the kind of energy that makes teens feel seen,” said Sage Christensen, co-founder of Musicat TV. “That’s exactly what Musicat stands for.”

With contest entries open through July 1, 2025, Musicat is inviting young creatives everywhere to step into the spotlight. Whether it’s a 15-second jingle or a soul-searching ballad, every submission is a chance to be heard—and to help others feel a little less alone.
