Featuring 9 new original songs, Before the Devil is the latest from Kansas City musicians
KANSAS CITY – Last week, Kansas City-based band The Village Prairie officially released its sophomore album, Before the Devil. The band’s genre-blending, modern Americana sound can be heard in the new album’s nine featured tracks including the lead single “Shovel.”
Originally formed in 2018, The Village Prairie features a host of talented local musicians including Kyle Aaron (songwriter, guitar and vocals), Dan Kiddle (lead guitar), Tony Batenhorst (drums), Nicki White (vocals), Leo Johns (piano and organ), Joanna Metsker (violin) and Joe Mentesana (bass).
