Speaking on the Afterlife EP, vocalist/guitarist Sam Trestman shares, “Influenced by my work in healthcare for a decade together with a personal near-death experience, the Afterlife EP reflects on the polarity of human experience and undergoing its constant cycles of change.”
About Boston Flowers:
Emerging from the vibrant Brooklyn rock scene, Boston Flowers is a Brooklyn-based music group who established a signature rock sound with their debut album Mondegreen (2023). The band continues to mix influences of melodic alternative rock and softcore grit. The band’s name was inspired by the iconic film character Austin Powers, adding a touch of groovy nostalgia to their identity. Drawing influences from bands such as The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Turnover, Kid Bloom, and Mk.gee, they remain tenaciously close to their indie rock roots. They’re looking forward to expanding their reach and playing shows in the tri-state area, adding to their local NYC show lineup so far at popular venues such as Arlene’s Grocery, The Delancey, Berlin Under A, Bar Freda, and their own personally hosted rooftop shows in Brooklyn.
