Harper O’Neill Shares New Song “When You Love Me”
Today, Harper O’Neill releases her new song, “When You Love Me”. The song, which O’Neill wrote by herself, is one of the record’s most striking moments, with soulful, almost jaunty production belying the heartbreak at the track’s core. It follows her previous single “Guilty,” which Rolling Stone named a “Song You Need To Know” and which The Boot calls “stellar.” O’Neill shares of the song, “‘When You Love Me’ is a song about a fraught relationship. When it starts to fall apart the duct-tape words to put it back together are always “but I love you”! This song is about realizing that just because you say it doesn’t make it real. If this is how it feels when you love me, I wish you wouldn’t.”

Alt-folk-pop singer-songwriter Rachael Sage has released the title track video “The Other Side” from her forthcoming album (out July 21, 2023). Rachael, an award winning singer-songwriter and self-described “cancer thriver”, is the human embodiment of an exclamation mark, and “The Other Side” video exemplifies her vibrancy in color and song. Shot at Gymnopedie in Brooklyn, the video’s rich hues jump off the screen as the irrepressible Sage moves between industrial urban spaces and Patricia Field-esque, fantastical gardens. The video (featuring Kevin J.Killen on drums and electric guitar and directed by Mike Flanagan) premiered in Vents and Wonderland.
