Katie Jacoby, the violinist and singer-songwriter known for being the touring violinist with The Who, has shared her cover of T. Rex’s “Cosmic Dancer.” The track features an all-star cast of musicians including Scott Metzger of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, LaMP and WOLF!, Dave Dreiwitz of JRAD and Ween, and Josh Dion of Paris Monster, as well as a string quartet with Katie leading on violin. Austin’s Johanna Heilman releases “Party Time Sexy Dance” from When We Were Electric, out June 30

Singer/songwriter Johanna Heilman has been a part of the Austin music scene for over 20 years. She got her start playing coffee shops and house parties around the University of Texas and spent many years performing solo sets at venues across town. In 2012 she joined local shoegaze band Wildfires which released their well received debut EP, Aguas Frescas Part One, in 2015. Regulars of the Red River scene, Wildfires cut their teeth playing in little clubs around town and opening for touring acts. They have since released two additional records, Aguas Frescas Part Two, and a full length record entitled Wildfires (Skateland).

Liam Corcoran Announces New LP, Hints and Traces (Out July 7)

On July 7th, 2023, Liam Corcoran will release Hints and Traces, the Two Hours Traffic frontman’s fourth solo album.
