Actress, radio host, mother, and singer-songwriter. Anat Porat is releasing her touching single ‘Back To New’ – 24/03/23. A powerful anthem for anyone returning from a period of isolation, the emotive single rings truer now more than ever.
The single is from the album of the same name due for release later this year.
This song was written with German director and writer Julian M. Grünthal, whom she met a few years back when they were both participating in a musical tour in Switzerland. They started an artistic collaboration of song writing which led to creating an international music-poetry project.
Anat’s music hits you in the gut. But when it does, you feel no pain. She started her singer-songwriter journey in her 20’s, rising to prominence with an illustrious stage career including two productions of Les Misérables, before she was sidetracked by motherhood and life. But music was an inner calling and she now finds herself back on stage showing that it’s never too late to make your dreams come true and to go ״Back To New”.
