Do LaB made its anticipated return to Coachella on Friday, April 14 full of surprises and a stacked group of performing artists. Night one’s unannounced headliners featured James Blake’s CMYK DJ set followed by Brazilian superstars Vintage Culture and Mochakk teaming up for a floor-filling back to back. These icons set the tone for a massive weekend at Do LaB’s ever-evolving interactive stage, where a forward-thinking curation of celebrated musical talent will perform throughout both weekends.

For the second time in his career, Morgan Wallen walked onstage to a stadium full of fans last night (April 14), this time setting the attendance record as 39,609 packed the stands. Soaking in his first of 58 shows in North America this year, on night one of two back-to-back plays at Milwaukee’s MLB American Family Field Wallen’s energy-packed set encapsulated his excitement in returning stateside to once again deliver his hits to the very fans who made them a success.
The tour name pays homage to his third studio album One Thing At A Time, which remains at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, where it has been parked for five consecutive weeks and counting. Hailed by New York Times as a “hit-stuffed streaming blockbuster,” the album continues to break records, the latest surpassing Drake to become the artist with the most songs simultaneously charting on the Billboard Hot 100, with all 36 songs atop the chart.

Zoey Tess Loglisci, known professionally as Zoey Tess, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Born in Coconut Creek, Florida on January 1st, 1993, she began her career as a singer and songwriter at the age of 14. Tess and her family moved to Newtown, Connecticut when she was just three-years-old. Her father a former scout for the Miami Marlins, and her mother a former ballet dancer. She began studying classical piano at the age of four, performing in recitals and showcases around Connecticut and New York. Throughout her early childhood she studied piano, acting, dance, violin and classical voice. She studied classical voice in New York City under the direction of Marko Lampas, a graduate and teacher from the prestigious Juiliard School and a protégé of the internationally renowned opera singer Maria Callas. Tess credits her gift of piano to her late Grandmother who was a “brilliant concert pianist” and musician.

I had recently been betrayed and a lot of old insecurities and PTSD was brought up because of that. I wrote the song “Jealousy” to one, just cope with what I was going through but also allow people to feel like they weren’t alone with what they’re going through. A lot of people have experienced similar things to what I went through like loneliness, rejection and being lied too. I hope this song acts as a mental bandage for them in some way.”
