Heavy and raging, ‘Serpents Tongue’ is a fiery melodic metal anthem. The epic, self-produced video finds the band performing the song in a ghoulish manor house to soundtrack a demonic dinner party hosted by the Raven King.
Kanaan Releases Bold New Track “Solaris Pt. 2”
Norway’s Kanaan creates far-out, wondrous heavy music that synthesizes the singular stanchions of the Japanese psychedelic rock, German krautrock, and California desert rock movements into swathes of sound that straddle the line between the improvisational and the intentional. The award-winning trio will release its new LP, ‘Downpour’, on May 5 via Jansen Records.
Peter Lewis shares “Path Of Least Resistance”
Peter Lewis played a crucial part in the creation of that rare beast, the perfect rock & roll album: Moby Grape, a legendary union of guitars, voices and brotherhood made in a now-distant American age, the psychedelic San Francisco of 1967. While the band stands alongside Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead in the eyes of knowledgeable fans and critics, the band never reached the same level of name-recognition due to an early dissolution and corrosive management. “Path of Least Resistance” is inspired by these management troubles that began in the 60’s and still hamper the band’s ownership over their success to this day.
METRO BOOMIN UNVEILS MUSIC VIDEO FOR “TOO MANY NIGHTS” WITH DON TOLIVER & FUTURE
FLOOD Premiere “Sid Simons Shares a Video for His Recent Ode to a Malfunctioning GPS”
Following the release of his debut LP as GIRL SKIN, Sid Simons revealed his sophomore collection of songs would be put out under his own name last month when his forthcoming LP Beneath the Brightest Smiles was announced. Along with the news came the record’s bouncy first single, “Wendy,” which takes a much more metropolitan turn from Simons’ previous record. Additionally recalling the tight jams The Strokes were turning out in their early years (thanks in part to Is This It and Room on Fire producer Gordon Raphael working on Beneath the Brightest Smiles) with a considerably more upbeat energy, the single presents itself as a plea to a distracted lover. Well, not quite.
Newly created New York/Texas-based heavy experimental outfit DIMINISHING is poised to release their debut offering, The Unnamable, through Anti-Corporate Music, today issuing its cover art, track listing, preorders, and lead single, “The Rats I’ve Fed.”

Adekunle Gold shares the music video for his latest single “Party No Dey Stop” featuring Zinoleesky. The recently released new song is a club hit about the resilience and rise of Adekunle and Zinoleesky in the music industry. The electric and fast-paced song matches the energy of the culturally rich and buzzing Agege neighborhood in Lagos where AG and Zinoleesky grew up. Fittingly, the vibrant and colorful DK-directed music video for the song showcases the two artists stylishly celebrating their rise from humble beginnings.
Earlier this year, PiL released “Hawaii,” the most personal piece of songwriting and accompanying artwork that John Lydon has ever shared. The song is a love letter to John’s wife Nora, who sadly passed away from Alzheimer’s on Wednesday 5th April. A pensive, personal yet universal love song that has resonated with many since its release in January, the song sees John reflecting on their lifetime well spent and in particular one of their happiest moments together in Hawaii. John said, “Nora loved the album, she wouldn’t have wanted us to postpone it or change any of our plans.” Previously he has said of “Hawaii,” “It is dedicated to everyone going through tough times on the journey of life, with the person they care for the most.”

New Today Avant-Garde artist Lyfe Indoors shares dreamscape single “Binary Crime”
“‘Binary Crime’ is a tune I wrote when feeling a bit lost in technology. Post-covid, it’s a lot easier to be numb to everything online. That’s difficult and I wanted to make a song that exemplified that. The lyrics are up for interpretation but at the end of it, everything is just 1’s and 0’s”- Lyfe Indoors

AISLES Shares Long-Awaited Fifth Album “Beyond Drama”
“Beyond Drama is such a brutal turning point,” said Germán Vergara, lead guitarist. “We went through this huge restructuring and the loss of some historical members. I would define it as a record of crisis, but also of inspiring moments. Crisis for the whole social and personal context – not that we had been in crisis during the process – but that we were interpreting a crisis of polarization, of a pandemic, of a certain desolation due to the confinement. And of course, we had to move on from the departure of my brother from the band.”
GENE NOBLE REIGNS IN 2023 AS “STUCK” CLIMBS THE CHARTS
The song was released last month (Mar 2023) via Chicago Creed Music Group and is a sonic reflection of what happens when red flags are ignored in a relationship. The end result is disappointment, or worse – being stuck with no way out.
