Liverpool Award Winning Pop Singer-songwriter BANNERS Releases New Feel-good Love Song “Tell You I Love You”

BANNERS states about “Tell You I Love You,” “I suppose some songs are the culmination of years of thinking about the world and growing as a person, declarations of the things that are fundamentally important to you and how you’d like to be remembered or judged over the years. Some are expressions of how you felt in a single moment, right then and there. That’s what this song is. That moment you see that person for the first time, and everything explodes, and you have to tell them you love them. Maybe you won’t even feel like this tomorrow but who really cares? All the best things happen in the moment and if you don’t try then you’ll never know.”

“I was recording a song for a Hallmark Movie in Vancouver last summer and found myself completely enamored by the recording space we were in,” remembers Townes. “Later in the day, I found out that it was Bryan Adams’ Warehouse Studio, and I actually ran into Bryan himself on the staircase on my way out. We talked for just a few minutes, and I was so happy to meet him because his path as a fellow Canadian has been incredibly inspiring to me, with a collection of songs that have impacted the world in such a huge way.

Of the new track, lozeak commented: “I wrote ‘Used To You’ the day after my 17th birthday, in my first ever session with The Nocturns (who are now massive collaborators of the project). I wrote the song about feeling detached from reality and the outside world after the lockdown ended. A few years later, listening back to the song made me realize I relate to it in a different way – I was in a long term relationship and got way too comfortable. I really want all my fans to interpret the song however they want to, just like I did!”
