THE SHENANDOAH ELECTRIC COMPANY: Treble Premieres “Hot Mess;” LP1 Debut By Alt-Rock Act Formed By Pianos Become The Teeth Members Nears June Release Via Pax Aeternum
Winter in the mountains can be unpredictable. The best anyone can do is stockpile wood, food, and whatever vice they need to potentially not see much of the outside world until the first thaw in the Spring. The days grow shorter, moods shift, loneliness sets in. The cold can cut like a knife. But there always comes a morning where something shifts. The days seem to get a little bit longer. Things start to thaw. The season’s cycle and we seemingly are always looking forward to what to prepare for next. Time passes and before we know it, we are preparing for that first frost again. THE SHENANDOAH ELECTRIC COMPANY’s LP1 feels like that cycle. Unpredictable at times while also offering moments of comfort, clarity, and warmth amidst the gloom of Winter.

UK’s (almost) most dangerous band FABULOUS “Get F***ed” with Kylie Minogue, Beastie Boys with Keanu Reeves in the (literal) trunk
Few bands’ reputations precede them as much as 1990s British band FABULOUS. Much like the Sex Pistols a dozen years before them, Fabulous’ media headlines back then often included the words “Vandals,” “Banned,” and “Riots.” Banned by nearly every venue of their debut UK tour, they featured heavily in NME, i-D, The Face, The Wire, Select, and Melody Maker even though they only officially released a mere handful of singles, one of which, “Destined To Be Free” garnered NME’s prestigious “Single of the Week.” But before they could release their debut album, the band imploded… and their history became UK legend. On June 24, 2022 however, Boston-based Supermegabot Records is unearthing their 15-track never-before-released album GET F***ED BY FABULOUS to deliver what exactly has been missing in the rock world for the last three decades.
