Acid Blood – Bleeding Out

Swedish punk band Acid Blood has a brand-new video out for the song “Bleeding Out”, taken from their self-titled debut album. Since this was the 9th video released from the album the band wanted to try something a bit different from their previous clips, so this one does not feature the band just performing in a live setting. The new video was conceived and directed by singer Jojo Anderbygd and produced by Jonas Nimrodsson. The track “Bleeding Out” is one of the band’s earliest numbers. It is not a love song. Check it out!

“It Got Stuck” Jon Dalton

“Although now mostly known as a jazz musician, for Los Angeles based guitarist Jon Dalton that wasn’t always the case. In the late 1970s Jon was a founding member of the UK Space-Metal band Gold. Gold’s music was thought long-forgotten until recently when a small cadre of rock and metal fans began to discover them through the mists and portals of the Internet. As a result, what little remained of their recorded output was remastered and released by Bristol Archive Records for new generations to enjoy.

Jon started to get asked again to contribute guitar parts for rock recording sessions. “At first I wasn’t sure I even could.” he once said but such doubts were soon dispelled. This new recording features a refreshing confluence of styles and influences old and new.

Erika Tham Releases Music Video For New Single “Shhh” Co-Written With Deion Gill (Miguel, Usher) And Major Myjah (J.Cole, Ty Dolla $ign)

LA-based pop/R&B singer-songwriter and actress Erika Tham makes a fiery entrance this year with new single “Shhh” and reveals the coinciding Patrick Wilcox-directed video. Co-written with GRAMMY-nominated producers Deion Gill (Kelly Rowland, Miguel, Playboi Carti, Usher) and Major Myjah (Chris Brown, J.Cole, Ty Dolla $ign), the tongue-in-cheek track demonstrates Erika’s lyrical wit and seductive flow as she puts every mansplaining fuckboy firmly in their place. Paying homage to the unapologetic female pop stars of the ‘90s, “Shhh” is a loose spin off Shania Twain’s 1997 megahit “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and laced with alluring Asian string instrumentation against a modern R&B production.

“Falling in love unprepared, that’s what ‘Breathin’ is all about,” says Ulrich, beautifully describing in few words the shortness of breath, the jolting concoction of emotions, racing heart beats, nervousness, fumbles and happiness of the first kiss. Though, instead of considering it like a moment frozen in time, Ulrich invites us to live this love to the fullest, regardless of how badly it will most likely end. “I forgot to breathe, I forgot to think twice before falling in love, but there’s no use in running,” he enthuses.
