One of the best Australian metalcore bands to come along in years, PRIDELANDS, will release their long-awaited debut full-length album, “Light Bends,” this Friday, January 14th with SharpTone Records. As anticipation continues to spread worldwide, the band has just dropped the record’s most vicious track, “Antipathy.”

Ahead of the release of his new album Marching With Feathers, today Rob Burger has shared ethereal new single “Night Feet”. Following on from November’s release of the more beat-driven “Hotel For Saints”, “Night Feet” embraces moments of quiet, existing in the hazy void between sleep and consciousness. On his new single, Rob says:
“When I hear the sounds of night feet in my home, I know someone is coming to interrupt my dreamworld and bring me back to reality. The piece ‘Night Feet’ bridges the gap I experience between my imagined world and the one I inhabit day to day – it’s spacious and spontaneous; urgent and playful.

“YmIsoSaD¿?¿**” results in a new sonic return for the artist and finds him wallowing in emotion, all while trying to rationalize his infidelity. The track’s melodrama, a slight reflection of his notorious romantic past, is brought to life in full force through the eclectic windup found within the song’s bold and energetic production.

“This song was written in a stream of consciousness,” shares Molly. “It was one of those times when I listened to the words I was naturally saying while writing the melodies and they fit exactly how I was feeling without really having to change too much. I was starting to feel a spark and wanted to know if the other person felt it too. It felt like they were holding back what they were feeling, and I wanted to know if I was just in it alone or if what I was feeling was real. In general, I think people should be encouraged to communicate more freely and honestly, and so often we hide our truth in an attempt to make someone else’s experience better, but we end up making the entire situation more complicated.”
