THREADS OF FATE Release Lyric Video

Symphonic metal band THREADS OF FATE have released a lyric video for their stunning song “The Cold Embrace Of The Light”. The song is from their upcoming album of the same name which will be released via Layered Reality Productions on 11 March, 2022.

Band founder Jon Pyres comments:

“We’re very happy to finally release the first single of the new album, admittedly a very special track for us. It explores the darker aspects of despair, of delving deep within and facing your inner demons. It was an interesting time for the band and the new material resulted in a far more sinister manner than the debut EP.”

New Release: Linn Willner – ‘Morro Bay’

The empowering track came to the artist when she was overwhelmed by her own thoughts so took the piano to clear her mind. The result is a cathartic offering that shows off Linn’s sweet and airy vocals as they float across a delicate piano line.

Southern rockers SCATTERED HAMLET have released a lyric video for their song “Lowdown” at V13.net. The song is from their new album Stereo Overthrown which was released today.

The band comments:

“‘Lowdown’ sounds like a high speed car chase on a back country road. Mostly because we recorded it drunk on bourbon in the back of a box truck barreling down Pine Swamp Rd with no driver… in one take. Sounds pretty incredible, we know. But it’s just another day in the life for Scattered Hamlet.”

meadowhip captivates with shimmering grooves in ‘Getting Messy’

A seamless blend of smooth spacious RnB, ambient electro-pop and blissful neo-soul sees meadowhip captivate in sophomore single ‘Getting Messy’. As a masterful lyricist, meadowhip’s introspection and irreverent lyrics add a layer of enticing complexity.

Following from the previous releases (the zestful “Suffocate” and the charging “Don’t Say”) of the band’s most recent, debut EP – “Before You Drown” – alternative outfit Junction 28 now presents video for the immersive “Edge Of Hatred”! Showcasing a softer and more melodic approach, the track brings together dense, interwoven layers of synthesizers, pianos, and clean guitars into an evocative canvas of sound. This allows the listener to connect to the heightened emotionality of the song, before the track leads inevitably to an explosive crescendo. Compared to the band’s previous releases, “Edge Of Hatred” is very much a singular song, as the achieved atmosphere is very soft and delicate, which results in a complex and emotional outcome, with the song covering many specific topics, such as trauma and people’s darkest thoughts.
