“I’ve always loved the combination of acoustic guitar layered with really distorted guitars, especially with open tunings,” said Scott. “‘Pulse’ is in many ways a sonic outlier on the album, given it’s use of more modern sounds like the drum machine and synth and the pace of it, but lyrically I felt like it fit the record and I’ve always loved the idea of having a few surprises on an album.”
Week In Pop described the track as “emulating the jagged, serrated edges found in the 90s alt rock arts of danger worship.” Knoxville House is due February 11th via Cool World Records.

Key Glock Shines Like a Lighthouse in Trap-Happy “Da Truth” Single
It might seem like he exaggerates the extent of his flyness, but Key Glock only traffics in cold hard facts. Channeling Paul Pierce as he pulls up from center court, Key Glock shares “Da Truth,” his latest single. Produced by rising trap sound architect Pyrex Whippa, “Da Truth” mixes entrancingly atmospheric keys with a relentless subwoofer assault. Sitting firmly in the pocket as he cuts through the beat’s ample negative space, Glock works a nursery rhyme-like cadence as he aims to silence those who doubt he’s one of the South’s best emcees: “Roses are red, violets are blue/I put money over b*tches, I don’t know bout you.” “Da Truth” is the latest flex-heavy banger to emerge in the lead-up to Yellow Tape 2, Key’s next album, following the chaotic, Tay Keith-produced “Ambition For Cash.”
Wais P ft. Paul Wall ,Termanology, KXNG Crooked “Clubber Lang” [prod. by Statik Selektah]
Wais P says “This record is a meeting of the minds and a sample of the frustration from lack of lyrical technique from an overcrowded market of MCs. If you remember Mr. T’s portrayal of James “Clubber” Lang in the movie Rocky III, his response to the reporter before the fight describes the tone of this record. When the reporter asked “Clubber Lang what is your prediction for this fight?” His response was simply PAIN.”

Now based in Pittsburgh, where he studies music, electrical engineering and computer science, and with a number of releases under his belt, Ivy hopes to further his ability to manipulate music.

As his career skyrocketed, labels came and went, and technology changed, his initial EP, In An Off White Room, which was so crucial to his sound, slipped through the digital cracks of time and was never rereleased to digital music services.
