Sounding like “High And Dry” if it were written by Jeff Buckley, this one-off track from York’s finest alternative-folk proposition has an aching, melancholy tenderness that will make your hairs stand on end.

Hot Flash Heat Wave Share “Vampires” via FLOOD | Single Out Now On All DSPs l Look Out For New LP in Early 2022
On the single, Hot Flash Heat Wave says: “‘Vampires’ spins off of the musical cautionary tale, the narrator punning around the theme while warning a young idealistic listener that ‘the world will drain you.’ The lyrics jab at consumerism, pop-media-enforced party culture, and our societal system that pushes us away from our youthful ideals toward well trodden career paths and empty materialism, alcohol and drug abuse. The song uses a fantastical theme to veil its critique, its sonic landscapes pulling from new wave and goth influences to match the lyrical tone, illustrating a dark expansive world filled with vampires.”
French producer NTO announced the release of his highly-anticipated debut album APNEA, which will be released 8th October via All Points/Believe.
The album is a beautiful collection of melodic compositions paired with NTO’s talent of making a track feel melancholic and uplifting at the same time. With the three already released tracks, “Zig Zag”, “Invisible” and “Petit Matin”, the French producer has already set the tone for his debut album with high-quality sounds and visuals.
Of the project, Bassy shared “Little Men is a reference to the “little mind/big mind” theory in Zen Buddhism. Little mind operates out of and is in service of ego, wrapped up entirely in its desire. which drives so much of the world I live in. And it leads to some dark tendencies. Some of the things I usually try to be better than or stay away from, I ended up getting deeper into – infidelity, addiction, lying, toxic work and romantic relationships. This is the story of trying to get to the other side of the ego – which is real joy, comradery, and triumph.”

Toronto-based pop artist, Allegra Jordyn, has just released her new single “Leading U On.” The chill, acoustic-based pop song talks about the trials and tribulations of being uncertain in a relationship and feeling that you might be leading the other person on. “As I contemplate whether this is a relationship I want to go back to,” Jordyn starts. “I find myself accidentally leading them on with all my uncertainty.” Her new single “Leading U On” is available to download and stream on all digital platforms worldwide.
“This track was originally made as a DJ tool. I take no credit for how well it has been received as all I did was threw some drums, an 808 and some FX over a banging acapella,” explains Chris Lorenzo. “You can thank The Mamas & The Papas for this banger. I’m just happy to be able to share it with everybody.”
For decades now, the channeling of trauma or anger or sadness through an electric guitar, an overdriven amplifier, and an earnest voice have been the cornerstone of rock and roll music, and the most clever—and successful—at getting their point across are those who make the whole experience both entertaining and relatable. When Canadian-turned-Nashvillian rocker Brandy Zdan finally sat down to tell the story of the most difficult period of her life, she followed these basic rock and roll guidelines and then some, extracting a jubilant and liberating truth for herself and everyone else who might need to hear it. On October 29th, Zdan’s new album Falcon—completely self-written, -produced, and -engineered—will hit record store shelves and streaming services.
Speaking on the EP, Teddi Gold says, “On Vol. 2 you will hear about wanting to have fun for the summer, you will hear about leaving your problems on the dance floor, you will hear about how love transcends materialism, you will hear about wanting to be a good friend, you will hear me encouraging you to follow your own dreams, and you will hear about not letting the haters bring you down.” On the EP title, she explains, “I call them volumes because they are collections of songs that are autobiographical in nature and it implies that there is more to come. I also like the idea of volumes because much like self discovery, it never really ends, it just keeps getting deeper.”
Spotify has also named Sleepy Hallow their next RADAR artist.
