Many of us first discover music through our earth-side families, leaning in to the influences gifted to them by association. Whether it’s classic rock on the car radio or retro pop on the boombox by the pool, music seems to always find its way to those who need it the most. Grayson Sanford’s own music-discovery experience isn’t too different. After the passing of one of his uncles, Grayson was given his vinyl, cassette and CD collection. Mainly it consisted of classic rock, disco, and jazz records, yet it was more than just the sounds for Grayson. He dove head first into where the music came from, which albums were more important than others in an artist’s career and which are regarded as the favorite or “popular” ones, the impact they had on the world at the time, and all concepts between.
“Simply put, Fix Your Face is a song about getting weird looks from people in public. As a rather weird-looking group of people, we’re no strangers to this concept. It’s a feeling we wanted to harness and turn into something empowering. The next time you catch a weird glare just listen to the song and you’ll understand.” – seeyousoon

TOBY JOHNSON SHARES THE OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR ‘CALIFORNIA’ – WATCH IT HERE
The video sees Toby jump into an old school Ford Calypso convertible before taking a drive around the Essex countryside. It’s not quite California, but a late British summer isn’t a bad alternative. And it shows that an escape from day-to-day life can be achieved much closer to home.
Indie-rock risers Fuzzy Sun continue their foray into unabashed anthems with the release of a new single, ‘Morning Light’ – taken from the band’s forthcoming new EP ‘Since The Dog Died’, due November 2021.
The second release in somewhat of a new era for the Stockport four-piece, ‘Morning Light’ is a no-nonsense hard-hitter fuelled by luring, groove-led melodies, chugging guitars and the band’s signature fuzzy tone. “Similarly to fake it and the whole EP, Morning Light follows a very similar narrative and thematic arc.” tells frontman Kyle Ross.

A Better Dystopia sees the band pay homage to some of their favorite songs of all time, while reflecting on the paranoia, dystopia and revolution of both now – and then.

In 2021, AEON finally returns with its successor, God Ends Here, and in doing so only up the ante with a record that is bigger, harder, and stronger in every way. “I wasn’t feeling any pressure after such a gap, we don’t do shit half assed and I feel like this is our strongest album yet,” states guitarist Zeb Nilsson. A darker, even more epic collection, it is everything an AEON fan could want with a few surprises in store, pushing the genre in new directions and once again asserting that they are one of the most important bands in extreme metal.
